Aida Escalon, is an Industrial Engineer who was accustomed to managing complex supply chains, all around Honduras. She lived in the capital until the passing of her Grandfather, when her and her mom decided to leave the city and move back to their ancestral home to look after the coffee farm and reconnect with this way of living with the Earth.

Four years later, Aida’s farm is an example of sustainable organic farming, where a variety of species are supporting each other’s growth and regenerating the soils all throughout the process. With this change comes learning that needs to happen and we are currently working with her to be able to process her own coffee and be able to protect the quality more effectively.

This is the first year we have started working with Aida and the first time that she has exported a lot of coffee directly from her farm. We are excited to continue partnering with Aida and building a sustainable relationship that can help her continue to improve her coffee's quality and continue to help her newfound community.
